Sustainable Development Goals: a new challenge for GHMe

On September 25th 2015, United Nations member states adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): 17 goals ought to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. Each goal has specific targets to be achieved over the next 15 years. The SDGs constitute the most ambitious developmental agenda ever agreed at global level and they set big challenges also for Global Health. An entire goal focus on health at global level. Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all is Goal 3 aim .

Empowering Global Health students and young professional through a high quality mentorship experience is the mission of GHMe. We strengthen skills, expand global health knowledge and promote international networking among our participants to create future Global Health Leaders able to face the SDGs challenge.

To improve our programme and offer our participants new opportunities, GHMe team is looking forward to joining the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Youth. Founded in 2015, the SDSN Youth educates young people about the challenges of sustainable development and creates opportunities for them to use their creativity and knowledge to pioneer innovative solutions for the SDGs. In addition, SDSN Youth creates platforms for young people to connect, collaborate and integrate their ideas and perspectives into national and regional pathways for implementation of the SDGs.

Never stop dreaming, never stop growing GHMe!!
