It is finally August again, which means time to kick-off Global Health Me in its third year! We are proud to announce that August 1st until December 31st Global Health Mentorships will run its third cycle. Every year our program is growing and we are determined to make 2017 the best cycle so far. We have welcomed ambitious, driven and open-minded people to our team to achieve our goal to initiate and facilitate a high-quality mentorship experience. The registrations opened on April 29 and after a recruitment period of almost three months we are happy to announce that the number of applications exceeded our expectations and hopes by far. GHMe at Rotary Club of Ryde, Sydney

June was a busy month for our Advisory Committee Coordinator, Grace Moyo. The inaugural GHMe Advisory Comimttee meeting was held on 17th June. The meeting was a success and resulted in great recommendations for ways to improve the user experience for our mentors and SYPs for the 2017 program cycle. On the 21st June, Grace was invited as a guest speaker at the Chatswood Rotary Club (Sydney, Australia). Also this year, for the fourth time, the beautiful city of Barcelona has been the scene of the Global Health Next Generation Network (GHNGN) annual conference. This year conference, entitled ‘Passionate about Global Health - What’s next?’ focused on career steps for global health students and young professionals to build their professional future.
