Today we would like to announce that the applications are finally open! You can now apply to become either a mentor or a student and young professional (SYP) for 2017. Please click here if you want to apply to become an SYP and here to become a Mentor. As an SYP, you get the opportunity to boost your global health career by networking with experienced senior colleagues and peers, as well as getting to know about opportunities,events and projects that exist in the global health space. As a Mentor, you gain fresh vision, ideas and alternative solutions to global health challenges from students and young professionals. All you need is to give a few hours per month to share your experiences and

Reflections of my experiences in Kenya

When I am not studying, engaged in the Swedish Network for International Health or the Global Health Mentorships program I am also involved in the international group in the UN-district of Gothenburg-and Bohus. For some time now we have been planning to go to Kenya, and after receiving funding from Forum Syd/SIDA, the Swedish Development Agency, we could finally realize our ideas.
